Tidewater is located between the Intracoastal Waterway and House Creek in North Myrtle Beach off US 17.

The golf course was laid into and over the land as it was sitting up on a peninsula overlooking the Atlantic. The course journeys around salt marshes along the Ocean inlet and the Intracoastal and through old growth, tree lined fairways with sand traps and water hazards the dominating features. There's varying degrees of elevation change here and the wind is usually a factor. It was designed by Ken Tomlinson and plays to 7,044 yards, 74.3/144, course/slope ratings from the tips with 5 shorter sets of tees.
