Prestwick is located just south of the Airport off US 17 at Duck Pond Road to the east within a residential development.

The golf course is a parkland design carved through the trees with over 1.3 million yards of earth moved to create dunes and berms. The fairways are framed by these dunes, pine and dogwoods, waste areas, lakes, and streams, and timber laced sand bunkers, some so deep there's stairs down into them! Despite the water and the trees, it has a linksy feel to it with long fescue grasses along the fairways and several quirky "Old Prestwick" style holes. There's six tees in total, the middle White tees play to 6,347 yards, 71.1/131, course/slope ratings, a P.B. and Pete Dye design.
