Glen Dornoch is north of Myrtle Beach in Little River just off US 17 near the South Carolina border on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway.

The golf course ambles through 270 acres of pine, oaks, and magnolias in a natural setting featuring several fairways, tees, and greens directly on the Intracoastal. There's a variety of conventional and pot sand bunkers in addition to ponds and wetlands defending both the landing zones and greens. It plays to 6,890 yards, 73.1/145, course/slope ratings from the black tees with four shorter tees, designed by Clyde Johnston.
