Pine Lakes is the classic layout in Myrtle Beach located just north off Kings Highway near Myrtlewood a half mile from the Atlantic. The golf course is on the National Register of Historical Places as it was originally developed in the mid-1920s.

The layout provides for slightly undulating fairways along and over numerous water hazards with 40 sand traps positioned mostly around the greens which are generally raised from the fairway surfaces. It plays to 6,675 yards from Tee#4, 72.3/134, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees. The original architect was Robert White, but was updated with a 2008 renovation and redesign by Craig Schreiner restoring it to the original design and adding a few new holes.
