The Yale University Golf Course is located in a wooded, isolated tract of rolling land off the Wilbur Cross at Derby.

It was designed by Charles Blair Macdonald and Seth Raynor in 1926. The layout showcases strategic design concepts, featuring iconic template holes such as the Biarritz, Redan, and Eden, along with dramatic elevation changes and expansive, contoured greens. Built on a 700-acre landscape, the course was restored by Gil Hanse to its original scale, strategy, and architectural pedigree. There are tees from 4,814 to 7,054 yards; the Regular tees are 5,767 yards, 68.9/130, course/slope ratings.
