Great River is off the Wilbur Cross Parkway on the north side of the Housatonic River in Milford.

Great River is a demanding, parkland layout with six holes bordering the River while the balance journey along mature, hardwood tree lined fairways or into open meadows. Overall, there's wetlands, ponds, and lakes in play on multiple holes in addition to a plethora of conventional, long waste, and pot sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens. It can play to 7,060 yards, 74.6/146, course/slope ratings from the back tees with four shorter tees, a Tom Fazio design.
