Fox Lake Golf Club is located approximately 20 miles northwest of Libertyville, situated on the north side of Fox Lake. The course occupies a compact footprint over rolling terrain, with fairways bordered by mature trees. The design features numerous bunkers, particularly around the greens, and includes several forced carries over water. It offers three sets of tees, playing from 5,282 to 6,359 yards, with course and slope ratings of 71.0/125 from the back tees. The original layout was by Harry Hall King, with later updates by Ken Killian and Dick Nugent.
