Fenner Hill is 30 minutes south of Providence, just off I-95 at exit 2, which borders the interstate on the north side.

The golf course is a parkland design rambling through broad, tree-lined fairways over hilly terrain, with rock outcroppings, stone walls, and ponds, and an exaggerated emphasis on massive sand traps. The layout was designed by Ron and Dennis Levesque. From the tips, it plays to 6,636 yards, with 71.8/134 course/slope ratings, and three shorter tees down to 5,112 yards.
