Beaver River is located in South County 3 miles from Interstate 95 at exit 3A to the east between Warwick and Westerly.

The golf course is a parkland layout along tree lined fairways with several water hazards, numerous slight doglegs, a modest amount of sand bunkers, and small, quick greens. The course is a par 70, 6,006 yards from the tips, 67.1/123, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Michael Weremay in 2001.
