Willow Creek is between Greenville and Spartanburg in Greer south of I-85 near the intersection of Rts 101 and 417.

The course is in a residential community with the homes set back comfortably from the golf course. It's parkland in design along tree lined fairways with a moderate amount of sand traps and several water hazards featuring a challenging finishing stretch of holes from 16 on. It was designed by Tom Jackson and is 6,890 yards from the gold tees, 71.9/137, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
