Cherokee Valley is 30 minutes north of Greenville off US 25 in the Travelers Rest area in the midst of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The golf course is carved through the forests over hilly terrain within a residential community along separate and unique fairways. It's a narrow, parkland layout featuring blind shots, elevated tees and greens, sand bunkers and water hazards, drivable par 4s, and is less than intuitive the first time around. It can play to 6,612 yards from the tips, 71.3/133, course/slope ratings or as short as 4,275 yards, a P.B. Dye design.
