Timber Ridge is on the northeast side of Lansing off the I-69 exit at Webster Road/exit #92 then south.

The golf course was craved through a hardwood forest with seven water hazards along with narrow driving lanes off the tee. The greens are of moderate size, slightly sloped, and well bunkered at the sides. It can play to 6,620 yards from the tips, 73.0/144, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Jerry Matthews in 1989.
