The San Clemente Municipal Golf Course is located just off the San Diego Freeway midway between Sand Diego and Los Angeles in San Clemente.

The golf course is an old school layout over slightly undulating topography along broad fairways bordered by tall palms and native vegetation. It's generally straightforward other than one sharp dogleg, but has 45 sand bunkers defending both the fairways and the challenging greens which break toward the Pacific and is in view. The golf course has three sets of tees from 5,173 yards to 6,435 yards, 70.9/124, course/slope ratings off the back tees, designed by Billy Bell.
