Saltleaf is located on Florida's west coast between Naples and Fort Myers off I-75 at Corkscrew Road to the west on the east side of Estero Bay.

The Preserve course flows through an Audubon Sanctuary with the fairways continually bordered by wetlands, lakes, and natural, crushed stone waste areas without conventional sand bunkers. The greens are somewhat large and generally elevated with the surfaces undulating and surrounded by collection areas. It plays to 6,478 yards from the championship tees, 70.4/125, course/slope ratings with 6 shorter tees, designed by Raymond Floyd.

There's also the 9 hole, Leaf, a walking only, par 3 layout.
