River Oaks is a municipal golf course located 15 miles southeast of St. Paul on the east side of the Mississippi River in a natural setting without homes or development.

The layout is over rolling topography along unique fairways defined by trees with 50 sand bunkers and four potentially in play. There are four sets of tees from 5,244 to 6,503 yards, the White tees are 6,083 yards, 69.1/1130, course/slope ratings, designed by Don Herfort.
