Grande Dunes is located along the Intracoastal off the Carolina Bays Parkway between Grissom Parkway and Water Tower Road.

The Resort course is a scenic layout even though it's within a residential development as it provides 7 holes along a ridge overlooking the Intracoastal. It is forgiving off the tee along broad fairways with and abundance of water hazards and sand traps in play and generous green complexes. It plays to 7,618 yards from the tips, 77.3/142, course/slope ratings with six tees overall, designed by Roger Rulewich.
