The Ledges is a Winnebago County Forest Preserve Golf Course located just off I-39 between Rockford and Beloit in a natural setting with a residential community along the exterior holes yet blocked by trees.

The layout is a parkland design over a slightly rolling tract of forested land with water hazards in play on 10 holes and well bunkered fairways and greens. There's three sets of tees overall with the middle white tees playing to 6,304 yards, 70.5/128, course/slope ratings.
