Heritage Oaks is on Oak Grove Island west of I-95 at the GA 27 exit about 1 1/2 miles.

The course wanders through a residential community with pine and oak tree, lined fairways over level terrain along Fancy Bluff Creek which produces multiple water hazards and/or wetlands on most every hole. It's a shot maker's layout with numerous doglegs and a variety of long, conventional, and pot sand bunkers at the landing zones and guarding the greens. The middle, blue tees are at 6,447 yards, 70.9/129 course and slope ratings, a Mike Young design.
