Bartley Cavanaugh is a municipal golf course owned by the city of Sacramento on the Sacramento River in the Freeport area off I-5 at the Consumnes River exit.

The layout is somewhat forgiving off the tee along broad, tree lined, slightly undulating fairways with trouble in the form of OB on the front side and water in play on over half the holes overall. Its signature hole is a replica of the TPC Sawgrass island hole, the 107 yard island par 3, 17th. It was designed by Perry Dye in 1995 and plays to 6,158 yards, 68.9/122, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
