Mather Golf Course is east of Sacramento in Mather Park off Douglas Road flowing a natural setting that's a certified Audubon Sanctuary.

The layout is a straightforward, parkland style design with mostly open fairways bordered by mature hardwoods and a sparing use of sand traps, but quick and slightly undulating greens. The course was designed by Jack Fleming in 1959 and is 6,767 yards, 72.2/121, course/slope ratings from the back tees with five shorter tees.
