Wild Marsh is up on Buffalo Lake, about an hour northwest of downtown Minneapolis.

It's a scenic but challenging parkland-style layout with broad fairways bordered by natural areas and trees over a slightly rolling topography. The course is in a scenic setting between Buffalo, Mary, and Mud Lakes, with multiple wetlands and ponds interrupting play and a generous amount of sand traps bordering the landing zones and securing the greens. It was designed by Graham Marsh and plays to 6,504 yards, 72.4/140, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees.
