Fox Hollow is 30 minutes northwest of downtown Minneapolis, off I-94 at exit 206 in Saint Michael, on the north bank of the Crow River.

The Black and Gold nines journey over the lowland between the Crow River and Foster Lake. The broad fairways are lined by tall fescue with scattered stands of oak trees at the borders. There are ponds, wetlands, and streams in play on eleven holes, in addition to various shapes and sizes of sand traps defending the fairways and the ample greens. The course plays to 6,646 yards, 72.7/136 from the tips, with three shorter tees, designed by Joel Goldstrand.
