Whiskey Creek is in Ijamsville off I-70 at Exit 62 or I-270 at exit 26 to the north.

The course wanders over a large, natural tract of rolling terrain along broad fairways bordered by a mix of meadows, stands of pines and hardwoods, rock outcroppings and stone walls, wetlands, springs, and streams. The layout features a generous amount of fingered sand bunkers guarding the fairways and greens with views of the Catoctin Mountains throughout the round. From the Blue tees it's 6,525 yards, 72.0/136, course/slope ratings with one longer and two shorter tees, designed by J. Michael Poellet.
