The Volcano Golf Course is perched on the edge of an active volcanic crater, and one of the most distinctive golf experiences in the world. It provides sweeping, panoramic views of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea while navigating fairways framed by native ‘ōhi‘a trees, known for their striking red blossoms. It is at 4,000 feet above sea level along the rim of Kīlauea, where you might encounter the nēnē, Hawai‘i’s state bird, which nests throughout the property—adding a local touch to an already unforgettable round.
