The Pfau Golf Course is on the northeast side of Bloomington off the IN 45 bypass carved through the woods of the former University golf course.

It's a championship level layout intended to host major Big Ten and NCAA tournaments and is challenging overall. While the broad and rolling fairways framed by deep fescue are generous, there's 147 sand bunkers defending the landing zones and the elevated greens. It features six tee options from 4,586 to 7,908 yards with the middle playing to 6,136 yards, 70.7/132, course/slope ratings designed by Steve Smyers and Fuzzy Zoeller.
