Salt Creek is in Nashville, about 45 minutes south of Indianapolis in Brown County, on the east side of Nashville off Rt 46.

The course is a parkland layout over rolling hills, ravines, and, of course, Salt Creek, with a number of crossings. It winds through a scenic setting in Brown County, with the front nine slightly longer than the back, where the elevation changes are more dramatic. The course is short but challenging, at 6,308 yards from the championship tees, par 71, 71.2/132, course/slope ratings, with two shorter tees designed by Dwayne Daymeyer.
