The Meadows is located at Grand Valley State University about 10 minutes west of Grand Rapids off Lake Michigan Drive/Route 45.

The golf course is a designated Audubon Sanctuary with a few holes bordered by trees, but mostly an open, links style layout. It flows along meadows with water and/or wetlands in play on the majority of the holes, an elaborate use of sand bunkers, and generous, well defended greens. There's five sets of tees overall with the middle tees playing to 5,866 yards, 68.4/121, course/slope ratings, designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan.
