The Mackinaw Club is just a few miles south of Mackinaw City off I-75 at the US 31 exit to the south.

The golf course was carved through the woods, over 300 acres of natural wetlands and streams, along forested corridors and wide-open, rolling meadows, with water features on half the holes. It plays to 6,807 yards from the tips with a 124 slope. The white tees play to 6,313 yards, 68.9/121 course/slope ratings, with two shorter tees, designed by Jerry Matthews.
