Boyne Highlands Resort & Country Club

Boyne Highlands has four 18 hole, championship golf courses located 10 miles north of Petoskey.

The Heather course is a challenging parkland layout over rolling topography with six water features, numerous doglegs, and sculptured sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens. It plays to 7,143 yards, 75.4/147, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

The Arthur Hills Course is parkland as well journeying along broad, tree lined fairways over rolling terrain. There's an abundance of conventional and waste bunkers along the fairway corridors and on approach to the contoured, undulating greens with four water hazards overall. It plays to 7,312 yards, 76.4/144, course/slope ratings off the back tees with four shorter tees.

The Moor course is a shot maker's layout with water hazards in play on six holes, multiple doglegs, and sand bunkers defending the narrow fairways corridors and the elevated greens. It's 6,850 yards, 73.5/144, course/slope ratings from the tips, designed by Mike Devries.

The Donald Ross Memorial is a collection of Ross's more celebrated holes from some of the top rated venues he originally designed. It includes replica holes from Seminole, Plainfield, Oakland Hills, Pinehurst No. 2, Oak Hill, Scioto, Inverness, Bob o Link, Royal Dornoch, Salem, Detroit GC, and Aronimink CC. It plays to 6,814 yards, 73.9/143, course/slope ratings from the back tees with four shorter tees, designed by Newcomb, E. Kircher, Flick & S. Kircher.

There's also the 9-hole Doon Brae short course located on the backside of The Highlands Main Lodge. It routed over one of the ski hills and includes a variety of green complexes reminiscent of the Redan, PunchBowl, Volcano, Short, and Biarritz along with stacked wall bunkers and tall fescue borders. There's a variety of tee boxes from 61 yards to 134 yards, designed by Ray Hearn.
