Bodega Harbour is situated overlooking the Pacific within an upscale residential development on the south side of Bodega Bay.

It's a links-style design devoid of trees but on somewhat rolling land providing views of the Pacific from every hole. Contrary to the links' design standards, there's a freshwater marsh along the last three holes; the course is without water hazards, but has significant sand bunkering along the landing zones and guarding the greens. The course is rather short at 6,289, par 70, 71.5/129, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr in 1977.
