Homestead is southwest of Denver on the east side of Bear Creek Lake Park near where I-470 and US 285 intersect.

The layout is an executive design providing an elevation change of over 200 feet with eight par 3s, nine par 4’s and one par 5. The Mountain Nine cruises through the bowl of Mt. Carbon with views out over Denver and the Rockies while the Prairie Nine provides most of the change in elevation. The course is short at 5,048 yards, par of 65, 62.6/110, course/slope ratings off the tips with three shorter tees, designed by Denis Griffiths.
