Raccoon Creek is 14 miles southwest of downtown Denver in Littleton at the intersection of Bowles and Wadsworth.

The golf course was laid into a patch of Grant Ranch but is bordered by shopping centers, apartments, and homes on the exterior holes. It's generally open off the tee, but a series of holes encircle the Grant Reservoir in addition to multiple streams and ponds impacting play on over half the holes with sculptured sand bunkers littering the fairways and securing the greens. There's five sets of tees from 5,130 yards to 7,045 yards off the back tees with the middle, White tees playing to 6,054 yards, 67.7/120, course/slope ratings, designed by Richard Phelps.
