The Habitat is a municipal golf course located just south of the Valkaria Airport 20 minutes south of Melbourne between US 1 and I-95 off Valkaria Road.

The course traipses through lakes, wetlands, and natural areas and is challenging with virtually unplayable rough at the borders, water on half the holes, and a generous amount of sand bunkers along the fairways and greens. It was designed by Charlie Ankrom and from the back tees can play to 6,836 yards, 73.7/141, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
