Aquarina is half-way between Melbourne Beach and Vero Beach on Highway A1A between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River on the barrier island.

The routing is through an upscale, residential neighborhood and the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge. There's an abundance of wildlife, including sea turtles, osprey, wading birds, otters, and manatee as the course winds around live oaks, through mangrove marshes, and around eleven lakes. It's a shot maker's layout with water in play on most holes and well bunkered greens and fairways. The course was designed by Charles Ankrom and is an executive length with a par of 62 that plays to 4,313 yards from the tips, 62.0/107, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
