The Bucks Club is on York Road just southeast of Doylestown about 45 minutes north of downtown Philadelphia.

The golf course is a challenging layout meandering around a residential development with homes bordering the exterior holes. The layout is characterized by confining, tree lined fairways, blind tee shots, forced carries, sand bunkers both greenside and in the fairways with several water hazards in play. The greens are the course's main defense as they're quick with severe slope and undulation. It can play to 6,210 yards from the tips with a par of 70, 69.5/130, course/slope ratings with two shorter sets of tees, designed by William Gordon in the early 1960s.
