Teal Bend is on the Sacramento River on the west side of the International Airport near I-5.

The golf course is a parkland layout with broad and narrow, fairway corridors defined by trees over level terrain. There's multiple water hazards in play in the form of wetlands and ponds creating several risk/reward opportunities in addition to 45+ sand bunkers. It was designed by Brad Bell to a total length of 7,061 yards, 73.2/130, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
