Tara Hills is in southwest Omaha in Papillion on Giles Road off I-80 within a residential community.

The golf course is a short, compact parkland layout moving along hilly and level, tree-lined fairways with water hazards in play on seven holes and well-bunkered fairways and greens. There are three sets of tees from 4,879 yards to 6,160 yards, 70.2/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Patrick Wyss.
