Stone Hedge is about 40 minutes northwest of Scranton in the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The golf course is challenging yet entertaining, with a mix of narrow and broad fairways over a moderate elevation change, adding to the overall character. It's well bunkered along the fairway landing zones and the generous greens with a lake and a stream on several holes as it moves through a secluded setting, with each hole separate and unique. It was designed by James Blaukovitch in 1991 with the tips playing to 6,644 yards, 72.3/127, course/slope ratings and three shorter tees.
