The Emanon Country Club is 30 minutes west of Scranton in Falls.

The course runs along cleared river bottomland at a bend in the Susquehanna, through tree-lined corridors over varying changes in elevation. After a rather pedestrian par 32, front nine with a combination of short par 4s and 4 par 3s, the 1,000-yard longer backside provides several drivable par 4s as well as two full three-shot par 5s. It's not a long course at only 5,665 yards from the back tees with a par of 70, 68.1/113, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees. There's an interesting history: the course was designed by local golf enthusiasts and originally named the No Name Club, but was changed years ago to the reverse Emanon.
