The golf course meanders through natural areas without housing or development and is in a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. The layout has been softened since it opened and is now generally forgiving off the tee and Mostly straightforward. It an open layout with a fair amount of water hazards and generous sand bunkering along the fairways and guarding the raised greens. It plays to 7,122 yards and a 139 slope from the tips, the middle tees are 6,324 yards, 70.3/127, course/slope ratings, a Greg Norman design.
