Shingle Creek is located at the intersection of International Drive and the Beachline Expressway in southwest Orlando near the attractions and the Orange County convention center. The course is on the grounds of the Rosen Shingle Creek resort with 1,500 guest rooms and a convention center and located within 15 minutes of the Orlando International Airport.

The course features a typical Florida layout with numerous lakes excavated to create the fairways, sand traps galore, undulating fairways, and generous greens. From the tips it can play to 7,069 yards with a 133 slope, the middle tees play to 6,260 yards, 70.4/128, course/slope ratings, a David Harman design.
