Reedy Creek is about 30 minutes south of Raleigh, off I-40 at NC 219 or the I-40 exit off I-95, then north to NC 219.

The layout is a parkland design surrounded by fields, forests, and Reedy Creek, with water hazards in play on half the holes. The fairways are lined with old-growth, hardwood trees over undulating terrain, providing odd lies at times. The greens are generous in size, contoured, and well-guarded by sand bunkers and water features. It's a Gene Hamm design with four sets of tees; the Whites are 6,004 yards, 68.6/118, course/slope ratings.
