Pudding Ridge is about 15 minutes west of Winston-Salem off I-40 at exit 174/Farmington, then north a mile or so.

The course is out in the country in a scenic setting, save for houses along several holes. The layout is mostly open, with scattered trees along the fairways, minimal sand bunkers, and Bryant Branch Creek coming into play on a number of holes. It can play to 6,813 yards from the back tees, 72.0/133 course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Don Boles.
