Puakea Golf Course was known as the 10-hole Grove Farm Golf Course, and at one time was ranked as one of the best 9 hole courses in the US. It has been expanded to an 18 hole layout and now treks over a former sugar plantation with its share of ravines, cliffs, lakes, jungle and views out to Kauai.

It's an entertaining layout with lots of elevation change, some forced carries, and beautiful scenery, in fact this is the area where Jurassic Park was filmed. There's stunning pali views on most of the course and ocean views on the rest of the holes. Each hole unique and isolated, and challenging due to the sloping and hilly terrain.
