Province Lake is 40 miles north of Dover on the Maine/New Hampshire border in Parsonfield.

The layout wraps around Province Lake surrounded by hardwood forests, and while most of the course is in Maine, two holes are in New Hampshire. In terms of hazards, there's streams or ponds in play on 1/3 of the holes and sand traps sprinkled about the fairways and greens. It plays to 6,336 yards, 70.6/130, course/slope ratings from the back tees with five shorter tees. The original nine holes date to a 1918 design by Lawrence Van Etten with the second nine added by Brian Silva in 1988.
