Olde Sycamore is off I-485 at Fairview Road on the east side of Charlotte, within an upscale, established residential community.

The layout winds through the community over rolling terrain with plenty of room off the tee. There are 40 sand bunkers positioned at the landing zones and defending the greens, three ponds, and several streams impacting play. There are tees from 4,700 to 6,985 yards; the blue tees play to 6,368 yards, 71.1/136, course/slope ratings, designed by Tom Jackson.
