Okoboji View Golf Course is on the west side of West Okoboji Lake surrounded by fields 10 minutes from downtown Spirit Lake.

The golf course is a compact, parkland layout lumbering along narrow, tree lined corridors. There's sand traps defending the greens, a stream traversing the northern third of the layout along with three large ponds, and generous oval or kidney, shaped greens. There's four sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,060 yards, 68.7/119, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by E.G. McCoy.
