Mt Kineo Golf Course is located on Moosehead Lake at the base of the 798-foot summit of the rhyolite Mount Kineo.

The golf course is a rudimentary 9-hole layout in a most scenic setting and is thought to be the 2nd-oldest golf course in Maine. It features straightforward fairways leading to modest greens absent sand bunkers, with the signature 4th hole, a par 3 of 138 yards over water to a green nestled at the base of Mount Kineo.
