Mountain Shadow's golf course is located in northern Scottsdale on Lincoln between Tatum and Scottsdale in a setting between the Camelback and Mummy Mountains.

The golf course is a par 3 layout encircling an upscale, residential development with an assortment of holes ranging from 75 to 200 yards and a total of 2,310 yards off the back tees. It features an endless variety of holes and green complexes including a Biarritz with one pond in play and 18 sand traps overall. It was originally designed by Jack Snyder in the early 1960s and updated and restored by Forrest Richardson.
