Mill Creek is between Hillsborough and Burlington off I-85 at the Mebane Oaks exit within a residential community.

The routing is traditional with tree lined fairways over rolling terrain with the holes isolated and unique. There's a moderate amount of sand traps along the fairways and greens and numerous ponds and Mill Creek in play. The course was designed by Brian Lussier, Gary Koch, and Rick Robbins with four sets of tees from 4,884 yards to 7,004 yards, the White are at 6,387 yards, 70.7/131, course/slope ratings.
